Leadership Circles for Women of Color:

community, coaching, and confidence so you can lead authentically

Calling all women of color leaders looking for an affirming community!

  • Do you long for a space with real talk and real support?

  • Are you struggling under the weight of imposter “syndrome”?

  • Are you trying to figure out how to be more brave and authentic in your leadership?

  • Do you sometimes wonder if you’re the crazy one (but deep down you know you’re not)?

    You’re not alone.

Are you ready to be seen and heard and held
in a circle of other leaders who reflect and understand you?

Whether you’re:

trying to survive and make a difference in your organization,

hoping to get clarity on what’s next,

or just needing a space where you can get some rest and respite…

you’re in the right place.

Leadership Circles for Women of Color consists of
9 coaching circles (biweekly sessions over 4.5 months)
where you’ll build community with other women of color leaders, give and receive coaching on your own leadership challenges, and grow your confidence to lead authentically.

In these circles, you will experience:

  • Gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of your own style of leadership

  • Listening deeply to other voices and to your own

  • Offering and receiving affirmation and perspective

  • Speaking your truth (as much as you want to share)

  • Using journaling and other tools of reflection to find and highlight your own deepest wisdom

  • Exploring frameworks that help you to see yourself, your environment, your challenges more clearly

  • Examining patterns at individual, community, and systemic levels

About me

As a leadership coach and former nonprofit executive, I have spent 20+ years supporting women of color leaders to thrive on their own terms — myself included. Nurturing, witnessing, and championing the leadership of women of color is my honor and my joy.

As a facilitator and a certified leader of writing circles, I know that virtual spaces can be trusted and deeply connected spaces, and I’m devoted to creating them.

As a circle-holder and circle participant for many years, I treasure that being in these healing spaces can nourish and transform.

What others have shared about these circles…

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for making a space for US, one where we can see ourselves and each other more clearly.”

“It was so lovely to have people show up for me in a way I’m not really used to professionally and wonderful to pay that back in kind.”

“I have been looking for a community like this for a good long minute now!”

“This group restores my faith in humanity.”

“From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for cultivating these hugely important, rejuvenating spaces that women of color so need and DESERVE.”

Wednesday, January 28th from 6-7:15 PM eastern on Zoom — Writing Circle for Women of Color
Saturday, February 7th from 3-4 PM eastern on Zoom — Our Circle, a monthly drop-in writing circle for all

*Register for either circle here. If you decide to move forward with Leadership Circles for Women of Color, the $18 cost will be applied toward the full cost of the series.

Q: Will the circles be recorded?

A: No. To honor the confidentiality of the circle, the calls will not be recorded. I will send out the writing prompts and any other exercises for you to work with on your own, and we can set up time to work through it together 1:1 if you like.
